FAPWA’s vision is relevant today.

“Pintig” means heartbeat in Tagalog. It signifies “life”. FAPWA continues to thrive because of its dedicated and committed leadership for over two decades of service. The current leadership keeps the forward momentum in order to advance FAPWA’s mission to serve.

Focus

The incumbent officers of 2017-2020 aim to preserve the vision and mission of FAPWA by highlighting it’s service-oriented mission as well as to pave the way to a more expansive vision as it moves into the next 25 years! As the evolving and changing nature of human engagement and connectivity continues , the officers aim to disseminate FAPWA’s presence and awareness through various social media platforms and with a more contemporary website on top of keeping social connections on a more personal basis through events, collaborations and gatherings. The life of FAPWA rests on its ability to engage the newer generation of doctors to carry the torch in whatever shape or form it may take into the future and that FAPWA’s vision must evolve with the changing landscape of health care and the world in general.
